Theault Customer Lifts 150th Melbourne Cup
Theault customer and leading French racehorse trainer Alain de Royer-Dupré headed to the southern hemisphere with group winner Americain for a successful challenge to this year's Melbourne Cup.
Theault Customers Jump To It At WEG
The team showjumping at the World Equestrian Games in Kentucky saw a strong performance by Theault customer Pénélope Leprevost riding Mylord Cathago HN (pictured) and the rest of the French team - European Champion Kevin Staut (Silvana de Hus); Patrice Delaveau (Katchina Mail) & Olivier Guillon (Lord de Theize) to win silver behind a very strong German side.
Meanwhile Sweden's Peder Fredricson riding H&M Arctic Aurora Borealis helped his team into 6th place while former Word Champion Dermott Lennon riding Hallmark Elite saw the Irish team finish in 12th position.
We wish them the best of luck for the individual competition at the end of the week.
Stunning Silver for Laura & Team GB
The team dressage at the World Equestrian Games in Kentucky saw a record breaking performance by Theault customer Laura Bechtolsheimer riding Mistral Hojris (pictured) to finish second in the individual scoring behind Edward Gal (Netherlands) and the legendary Moorlands Totilas.
Strong performances from the rest of the team (Maria Eilberg - Two Sox, Fiona Bigwood - Wie Atlantico & Carl Hester - Liebling II) gained team GB the silver medal behind the gold-medal winning Netherlands; the first ever team medal for Great Britain in a dressage World Championships. Laura went on to win silver in the individual competition breaking the record for the highest score by a British rider in an international Grand Prix Special with a record 81.71% just 3.96% behind gold medallist Edward Gal & Totilas. Steffen Peters and Ravel gained an excellent result for a the USA finishing in individual bronze position.
Over the last 2-years Laura and Mistral Hojris (aka Alf) have consistently broken records for scoring by a British combination in international competition and produced two superb performances for a well deserved result.
Belgian Theault customer Jeroen Devroe riding Apollo Vantlet Vuverhof finished in 32nd place in the individual scoring of the team competition to finish top of the Belgium squad and help the team into 9th place.

Theault At Magic Millions
We will once again be exhibiting the Theault Proteo horse truck at Magic Millions Sales from 26 May to 8 June 2010. We look forward to welcoming you to take a look around.

Freedmans Floating with Theault
Freedman Bros PTY Ltd of Rye, 3941 Vic became THEAULT's first Australian customer taking delivery of their new Proteo horse truck in November 2009. 3-months on we asked racing manager Sam Pritchard-Gordon how they were finding it.
"The horsebox is a great asset to our stable" says Sam "It relieves us from the dependence upon floating companies as our foreman can now drive the horses to the races; in a game where seconds count knowing that your runners are travelling in the utmost comfort and quickest time surely gives us an edge on our competitors. Furthermore our horses are stepping off the truck fresh and free from sweat as the ventilation is clevely thought out by Theault".
It also grants us huge flexibility. From sending horses to the beach or sending a foreman on an interstate trip it ensures that we are managing our time, staff and horses in the best possible manner. It is also an incredibly cost effective vehicle - $120 bucks of fuel gets you almost 1000km of travel and it drives as comfortably as a car".
"In short we just wish that we had one before".

Theault at Magic Millions
THEAULT AUSTRALIA will make our first appearance in Queensland for the Magic Millions Yearling Sales from January 6 - 10 2010.
On display will be the THEAULT PROTEO compact horsebox featuring low-level side-loading ramp, rear-facing travel orientation for the horses and sliding adjustable partition.
PROTEO is already the most popular horsebox of it's type with racehorse trainers and breeders throughout Europe. The first to arrive in Australia is now owned by Freedman Bros PTY Ltd.
