The Expertise of THEAULT from A to Z 
Assembly is where all of our products start. The body frame and structure are built on to a pre-prepared platform cab or chassis cab base to form the main structure of the vehicle.
Build Quality is one of our main considerations in the construction of our vehicles and we aim always to produce the strongest build possible for a safe, robust vehicle.
Comfort for all passengers, both human and equine, is important so layouts and fittings are designed to provide comfort and protection for both.
Design is where all our ideas are brought together onto paper. Our Design department work constantly on layouts and exacting specifications to provide our production team with a solid base to work from.
Expertise is an imperitive element in our team. Each member possesses experience and knowledge in his or her own field to provide a piece of the jigsaw puzzle that fits together to provide a strong, expert team.
Finishing is the last stage of the build process prior to application of the vehicle's final external decoration. Our skilled Finishing team complete all internal surface dressings and install the fittings that you have chosen.
Green - for a healthier environment. Theault is a registered ICPE (Installations Classées pour la Protection de l'Environnement) Company. For several years now toxic substances have been eradicated from our build process and our factory has developed a strict recycling policy. This added to our use of only the newest chassis which conform to the latest emissions legislation and use of recyclable materials in our build provides us with the ability to present you with the most environmentally friendly options possible.
History is an important part of the fabric of Theault. Established in 1924 by Emile Theault in the town of Avranches, Normandy the company began as a producer of motor and horse-drawn vehicles. Due to the traditions of the region as both the horse and dairy capital of France, Theault became known for its livestock transportation vehicles. These days the Company specialises in just horse transport vehicles. Theault remained a family business until the late 1990's.
Innovation is something that Theault are renowned for and has become a tradition of the Company. Theault innovations have included rear-facing stalls, sliding adjustable dividers between horses, quick-release breast bars for safety and clever use of cab space for comfort as well as safety.
Joinery The joinery team at Theault use artisan skills to create sumptuous interiors for horse trucks large and small.
Longevity is something our products are proven to possess. The strong structure and superior quality of our materials produce vehicles that last and stand up to heavy use.
Materials are chosen to be both strong and lightweight to provide the lightest, most efficient vehicle without sacrifice to strength or safety.
Network. The world-wide network that Theault have built provides us with an extra dimension to our business enabling us to gather and evaluate information from the widest possible range of users in order to ensure we continue to produce the best possible products.
Optimisation is another main consideration in planning our vehicles. Every horse truck however large or small has a limitation to the space available. Our designers are charged with the responsibility to ensure that available space is used as well as possible optimising the usability of each vehicle.
Paint. With 30 defined colors in our range and the ability to match custom colors, our paint team can create a vehicle exterior personalised to your tastes or business colors.
Quality Control is carried out at each build stage to ensure that every vehicle is conforming to standard and any issues are ironed out in the process.
Research & Development is hugely important to us which is why we have a department dedicated to just that charged with finding and testing materials and formats to produce the best solutions.
Safety, the biggest and most important of all of Theault's considerations and the reason why we go the extra mile with crash-testing to ensure strength and innovations such as quick-release breast-bars and sliding dividers to prevent horses from becoming trapped in an emergency.
Tradition & Technology combine at Theault because the newest is not always the best. Our unique fusion of both provide a strong backbone to our Company and its products.
Upholstery is a part of every vehicle from the protective padding in the horse area to the furnishings and finishings that you choose, our team of expert upholsterers create works of art in leather, alcantara and vinyl just for you.
Value is not something that we can personally create; it comes from our customers, competitors and wider market who create it for us. The fact that our vehicles are recognised both as good value for the quality provided and are therefore sought-after ensuring that they retain a strong value for the investments of our individual clients is something that we in turn hold in high value.
Weight is an important consideration in all of our products and regulations are different depending on the Country of destination. Construction from the most modern materials taken from the aeronautical industry and chosen for their supremely strong but lightweight values allows us to provide you with a vehicle conformed to your needs.
X-Factor is again something that we are proud of and recognised for; for anything to become the best it has to contain this and like value is not something we ourselves can make.
