Theault Customer Lifts 150th Melbourne Cup
Theault customer and leading French racehorse trainer Alain de Royer-Dupré headed to the southern hemisphere with group winner Americain for a successful challenge to this year's Melbourne Cup.
The Australian owned son of Dynaformer, ridden by Gerald Mosse, finished with a perfectly timed run to claim the race by 2 lengths from hot favourite So You Think at a rainsoaked Flemington. This year was the 150th running of the Melbourne Cup, the most famous race in the Australian calendar.
